Hanoi Online Shopping Festival to boom market this week

The festival is part of the Hanoi Promotion Month 2023, which stimulates consumer demand and supports businesses in stabilizing production.

Hanoi Online Shopping Festival, the final event of the Hanoi Promotion Month 2023, is expected to boom the city market with various discounts and promotional programs. It will be held from November 24 to 30, focusing on cashless consumption.

The event will be participated by e-commerce platforms and websites of businesses, offering over 20,000 discounted products up to 50% off for online shoppers.

Additionally, the organizing committee will connect the websites of registered businesses to the integration gateway at Thangkhuyenmaihanoi.vn.

With a series of promotions, discounts, and special offers, Hanoi Promotion Month 2023 continues to stimulate consumer demand, promote Vietnamese products, and support businesses to stabilize production and trade.

Assessing the benefits that Hanoi Promotion Month brings to businesses, Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Promotion Agency, believed that amid slower export growth, shrinking consumer markets, increasing inventory, and many export-oriented businesses facing a lack of orders, prioritizing domestic consumer demand is considered an essential measure to compensate for the growth from now until the end of the year.

He added Hanoi Promotion Month in 2023 is one of the effective measures that contribute to helping businesses overcome challenges and recover their operations, thereby promoting overall retail growth and balancing supply and demand in the city.

“With careful preparation, the promotional programs held throughout this month are expected to meet diverse consumer needs,” he said.

Nguyen Thanh Hang, from Trang Thi Street, Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi), said that this year's Hanoi Promotion Month has many new features shown through a youthful and unique shopping space display, which is very attractive. This helps consumers and tourists have impressive shopping experiences when visiting the pedestrian street on weekends.

Nguyen Le Minh Hoa, residing in Hong Ha Street, Hoan Kiem District, shared that many Vietnamese businesses have produced high-quality goods that meet the diverse consumer demands.

“Vietnamese goods are increasingly being improved in quality and design, which makes consumers like me trust and choose them. Therefore, the Hanoi Promotion Month 2023 is an opportunity for consumers to shop confidently,” she said.

The Hanoi promotion event is an annual event organized by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Over the years, the program has constantly innovated and improved in quality and scale, becoming a reputable trade promotion event, attracting thousands of visitors and making transactions every day, the HPA reported.

This is an opportunity for localities and businesses nationwide to promote their products to consumers, participate in efficient supply chains and consumption in the capital market, and serve exports.

The biggest promotional event in the capital was kicked off on October 27 at selected shopping points across the city.

During the Hanoi Promotion Month 2023, consumers also had the opportunity to shop at 50 shopping gold points, including supermarkets and shopping centers: MediaMart, BRGmart, BigC, Nguyen Kim, Pico, and Saigon Co.opmart. It was part of the "Golden Day Shocking Prices" event on November 11-12.
