Hanoi Book Street closes until end-March on Covid-19
The book street festival aims at maintaining and promoting the reading culture of the city’s people and among the whole community.

The 2021 Spring Book Street is taking place in Hanoi until February 21 (the 10th day of the first lunar month), introducing books of different genres to visitors in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
The Hoan Kiem district People’s Committee and the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications jointly held the book street festival with the theme “Spring gives knowledge - A reunion for the Tet holiday” at the Hanoi Book Street. |
The activity aims at maintaining and promoting the reading culture of the city’s people and among the whole community. |
Visitors will have a chance to receive free calligraphy writings, children can enjoy Vietnamese traditional toy figurine and play folk games. |
Publishers will offer promotion vouchers and gifts to visitors. |
People visiting the festival are urged to strictly abide by measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic. |
Readers at the Street will receive books at the free book ATM (book dispenser) launched by Thai Ha bookstore. |
The book street festival will run until 9pm on February 21. |
