International reporters can receive the gifts at Hanoi`s counter near the entrance of the International Media Center located at the Friendship Palace.
Nearly 3,000 international reporters from more than 200 press agencies covering the second US – DPRK summit will be presented with gifts to remind them of these exciting days in Vietnam.
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung revealed that one of the gifts for the international reporters is a miniature bronze drum model made of Chu Dau ceramic with the logo of Formula 1 racing car (F1), the competition to be held in Hanoi in 2020.
International reporters can receive the gift at the booth of the Hanoi People's Committee near the entrance of the International Media Center located at the Friendship Palace.
Besides, to celebrate the special event, on the evening of February 26, 27, 28, Vietnamese artists will stage numerous performances at the monument of Ly Thai To near Sword Lake.
Hanoi has ordered nearly 1,000 cups of egg coffee every day to serve international reporters during the summit.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information and Communications will give foreign journalists a separate set of postage stamps featuring Vietnam.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh said that the Vietnam Chefs Association selected good cooks to prepare dishes for international reporters during the event. The dishes will be Vietnamese specialties which are made meticulously to introduce Vietnam's unique culinary culture to international media.
Along with that, travel companies have prepared cultural gifts such as Dong Ho painting, conical hats, lotus tea, Teu wooden puppet for all international reporters at the International Media Center.
