So far, all 30 districts and towns in Hanoi have completed the evaluation of 606 products, exceeding the program's initial target.

According to the regulations, the evaluation and ranking of OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items take place at different levels involving the central agencies, especially in evaluating five-star products.

In the process, it's important to inspect and monitor to development of certified OCOP products whose manufacturers are encouraged to maintain quality, invest in product upgrades, and comply with the legal requirements of the OCOP program.

At the event, Nguyen Van Chi, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Coordination Office of the New Rural Development Program, said after the certification of OCOP products, Hanoi's authorities are urged to support businesses, including organizing trade promotions to help producers boost sales.

Over the past time, Hanoi has developed OCOP products to increase residents' incomes and help restructure the agricultural sector by boosting the development of handicrafts, services, and rural tourism.

Furthermore, the OCOP program promotes sustainable rural development through digital transformation and circular economy practices while preserving cultural values, managing resources, and conserving biodiversity and rural landscapes.
