Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Director of Van Long International Import-Export Investment Co Ltd in the northern province of Tuyen Quang, said that the event promotes local Shan Tuyet tea to Hanoi consumers.
He hoped that there will be more editions of the Vietnamese Goods Week to help local agricultural producers gain wider market access and secure direct distribution channels in the capital.
According to Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the goods week gives firms a chance to display their products and strengthen brands.
The week-long fair is also a place where producers stimulate consumption and provide high-quality Vietnamese goods to the market, while buyers may enjoy promotional programs and try out some of the best Vietnamese merchandises, he said.
Through the event, enterprises should be able to ensure sufficient supply, product quality, attractive promotions, and compliance with trade practices, the Hanoi trade and industry deputy director added.
The Hanoi 2025 Vietnamese Goods Week is part of the city’s plan to implement the national campaign “Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods Vietnamese Goods". It will runs until the end of September 2.
Since the beginning of the year, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade has stimulated production, accelerated public investment disbursement and boosted growth.
