The event aims to promote the reading habit among Hanoi people as well as entertain locals on the occasion of Lunar New Year of the Cat.
The Spring Book Fair officially opened on January 16 at Hanoi Book Street with the theme “Nurturing the knowledge for flowers to bloom”.

This year's event, which runs until January 29, will offer many bookstores and recreation areas with useful and interesting entertainment activities to encourage the development of collective spirit, thinking, and creativity among children and students in Hanoi.
To better serve readers and their families, the Organizing Committee has arranged some fun corners, such as a registration point, relaxation, and reading spaces.
There will be a host of activities, such as book launching ceremonies, instructions on how to read books effectively, craft workshops, a calligraphy demonstration, To he shop, squared sticky rice making contest, among others.

Moreover, book launch ceremonies, book trading activities, copyright exchange, and book-related competitions will also be held.
According to the organizer, the event aims to enrich the spiritual life of Hanoi residents and visitors during the 2023 Tet holidays.
It is hoped that the festival, together with other book-related events, will form a series of regular cultural activities to promote people’s reading habits, thereby helping to develop a learning society.
