Hanoi to apply new eTax service

Through eTax, taxpayers can access and manage all services in a single system, instead of logging into many different applications for different tax services.

The Hanoi Tax Department has applied an eTax service system (thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn) from May 6, aiming to help tax payers and implement tax policy more effectively.

The new tax administration utility replaces and combines both the iHTKK system (nhantokhai.gdt.gov.vn) and the NTDT system (nopthue.gdt.gov.vn), which so far have been used by businesses and individuals in Hanoi to declare and pay taxes.

So far, the General Department of Taxation has completed upgrading the application, supplementing the electronic tax registration module and preparing the conditions for expanding eTax system in other 15 provinces in May 2019.

Through eTax, taxpayers can access and manage all services in a single system, instead of logging into many different applications for different tax services. They  can easily fulfill all steps in the process of declaration, tax payment, tax refund, search of dossiers and tax obligations.

Besides, taxpayers can also look up tax dossiers submitted to the tax authorities and notices of handling process of tax dossiers, look up information on tax obligations and payable tax amounts.

For big enterprises, in addition to the main account of each tax code, they can create additional accounts for different positions in the business such as director, chief accountant, and accountants to help control members' responsibilities.
