The Hanoi People’s Committee has granted an Official Letter on asking relevant departments, sectors and agencies to implement national target programs in 2017 and deploying key missions for 2018.
Hanoi to focus on effectively implementing national target programs

Localities are tasked to allocate funds from the budgets; strengthen the mobilization of resources from domestic and foreign organizations, individuals or social credit policy programs; effectively use resources; well implement a number of movements, such as: “The entire country joins hands to build new style rural areas”, “The whole country joins hands for the poor - no one left behind”.
Steering Committees in localities are assigned to advise local authorities at the same levels to make plans and offer solutions so as to carry out the national target programs in 2018 and the following years; monitor, urge and give full reports as required.
Regarding to the above-mentioned matter, the Hanoi People’s Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take prime responsibility and coordinate with Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development; Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Finance; Natural Resources and Environment; Ethnic Affairs and relevant units to propose and report to the Municipal People’s Committee for its direction, and so on.
