A supervision delegation of the National Assembly Commission for Science, Technology and Environment has recently held a working session on reviewing the implementation of policies for scientific and technological development in Hanoi.

Morover, Hanoi has positively instructed the implementation of Law on Science and Technology in 2013 and selected scientific researches and technological development topics, pilot production projects in accordance with the process and guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The Capital city strives to become a prestigious center of high technology development in the region by 2020.
Especially, Hanoi issued and implemented a series of preferential policies for enterprises which invested in scientific research, technological innovation and development.
To assist local businesses in accelerating technological innovation, over the past time, the capital city has deployed a number of specific mechanisms and policies.
Besides, Hanoi has cooperated with the Ministry of Science and Technology and relevant ministries, sectors to promote the National Innovative Startup Ecosystem.
At the working session, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy suggested Ministries complete guidance Decrees and cooperation mechanism between enterprises and the State in scientific research as well as financial mechanism for scientific research acceptance.
Making conclusion at the session, Chairman of the NA Commission for Science, Technology and Environment Phan Xuan Dung highly appreciated scientific and technological activities of Hanoi.
He asked the city to continue promoting scientific and technological researches in the coming time and added that Hanoi is the Capital with great potential so it should lead in science and technology.
