Numerous domestic and international researches have predicted that Vietnam will benefit from catching up with the Industry 4.0.
Industry 4.0 Summit 2019 will take place in Hanoi on October 2-3 as the country seeks to take advantage of advanced technologies to make breakthoughs in development, local media reported.
This is an international event held with a view to announcing Vietnam’s major guidelines and policies on Industry 4.0, creating opportunities for exchanging with domestic and international experts on policies for effective implementation of the Industry 4.0 in Vietnam.
It is expected that over 4,000 delegates who are leaders of ministries and branches, embassies, associations, domestic and international businesses will attend the event.
The high-level forum will focus on introducing the elaboration process and basic contents of Vietnam's Industry 4.0 strategy and the country’s digital economy and society transition.
A seminar series within the framework of the event will focus on five main topics including smart banking, smart city, smart production, smart energy and digital economy.
Besides, an exhibition on Industry 4.0 will be held with nearly 80 booths from domestic and international companies.
So far, over 40 countries and territories, including developing countries, have issued strategies and action programs related to the Industry 4.0.
