Information about the fair was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at the press conference on September 7.
On display will be a variety of agricultural, forestry and fishery products, consumer goods, foods and food products with clear origins and protected geographical indications, those that meet the One Commune One Product (OCOP) three-star and higher standards, and organic products such as lotus rice, ST25 rice, and organic ST24 rice.
At the press conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Product Processing and Market Development under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Thanh Hoa said: “The fair will increase trade opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural products and foodstuffs to be exported to other countries around the world while affirming the quality and position of Vietnamese farm produce in domestic and foreign markets.”
Among 170 stalls, there are 28 from six foreign enterprises with outstanding products such as abalone, Manuka honey, olive oil, vinegar oil, and spices.
The fair will introduce machinery for agricultural production such as seeding machines, plows, combine harvesters, multi-purpose tillers, self-propelled lawn mowers, NPK slow-release fertilizers, agricultural mulch, and water filtration system in aquaculture.
In particular, the fair will reserve a display area for startups in the field of agriculture to provide information, introduce activities, exchange ideas, and seek opportunities for cooperation and sustainable development.
AgroViet 2022 fair is aimed at enhancing agricultural production 4.0, creating value chains for the agricultural products, speeding up trade promotion activities, and expanding cooperation relations.
