Hanoi to issue Code of Tourist Destination Rating

Hanoi authority would issue a Code of Tourist Destination Rating soon to enhance the quaility of this sector.

 
Hanoi’s Tourism Department sent Citator No 782/SDL-QHPTTNDL about the application of the Code of Tourist Destination Rating to People’s Committee of Districts, Prefectures, Towns; Hanoi Tourism Association and Hanoi Tourist Site Management Board.

Some key contents included are as below:
Hanoi’s Tourism Department proposes the cooperation of Hanoi Tourism Association in propaganda the Code to members to apply in managing, investing and operating, head to professional tourist destination. Along with the Department and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to rate, praise standard tourist sites.   
The Department also suggests Tourist site Management Board to research and apply the Code when invest labor force as well as capital in developing destination; when hold and monitor activities of those sites. The praising and honoring work for professional destinations should be carried out also, with the aim to promote Vietnam and Hanoi tourism image.
Especially, local Tourist site Management Board should establish rating index and send to People’s Committee of Districts, Communes, and Towns to analyze and sum up according to Hanoi’s Tourism Department’s demand.
Seven leading travel destinations have been honored with Vietnam Tourism Prize 2017. Among those, there are 4 sites from Hanoi. They are: Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long, Temple of Literature; Vietnam Women Museum and Vietnam Ethnic Museum. Another three attractions in the list are Hue Palace (Thua Thien Hue province), Cu Chi tunnels (Ho Chi Minh City) and Love alley (Lam Dong province).
