The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently released Plan No. 84/KH-UBND, strengthening e-commerce development in 2018 in the Capital city.

To complete the above targets, the Capital city will deploy 14 major missions. Especially, Hanoi will pilot automatic store chains and operate automatic vending machines in public areas in the Capital city.
In addition, the city will strengthen the application of e-commerce, social network to expand the market for domestic goods and export; encourage the establishment of websites, e-commerce applications trading safe products in the network environment; apply the QR code in online traceability, payment, promotion, tax declaration, etc.
Besides, Hanoi will also focus on developing logistics to serve e-commerce activities; building and improving the capacity of transportation services, logistics infrastructure and goods delivery in the capital city and other localities across the country; enhancing the use of non-cash machines, methods and technologies in purchasing goods and using services in distribution facilities, petrol stations and companies supplying power, water and telecommunication services in the area.
