The results of the National Programme on Child Protection for 2011-2015 pointed out that the city has basically fulfilled two criteria on children living in special circumstances and those in risk of falling into special circumstances.
Districts and communes across the city worked actively to raise public awareness of preventing children from sex and labour abuse, and injuries as well as equip them with self-defence and life skills.
Community-based child support models have been implemented widely and the capacity of officers and volunteers in charge of protecting and caring for children have also been improved significantly.
