According to Mac Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Hanoi Message demonstrates the city’s commitment to supporting the business community in building a humane, creative and sustainable business environment.

It also promotes ethical business practices based on cooperation, innovation and social responsibility.

The Code of Vietnamese Business Culture Values represents a breakthrough effort to establish a comprehensive framework for Vietnam’s business culture. It is a reference for companies to build strong corporate cultures aligned with global trends.

The code comprises key elements: foundational philosophy, core values, behavioral standards, business ethics principles and criteria for corporate culture implementation.

It is regarded as the first national-level reference framework for Vietnamese enterprises, designed to preserve national identity while meeting international standards for sustainable development.

Ho Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Business Culture Development, noted that this year’s theme “Vietnamese Business Culture: New Values Formed from Breakthrough Thinking in the New Era” concretizes major Party resolutions issued in 2024–2025, particularly Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private-sector development.

The 5th National Culture and Business Forum will chart a new course, positioning business culture as the foundation for competitiveness and identity in Vietnam’s deepening integration era, he told a press conference on November 10.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that the forum is a meeting point between policymakers and the business community, spreading messages of inspiration and encouraging Vietnamese entrepreneurs to build a responsible, humane and sustainable business culture.

She added that this year’s forum aims to become a strategic dialogue platform connecting the State, businesses and society to make business culture a new driving force for economic growth.

At the 5th National Culture and Business Forum, delegates and business representatives will dentify breakthrough thinking in the new era and its impact on Vietnam’s business culture.

They will also discuss new development mindsets, policy trends and challenges in shaping a modern Vietnamese business culture.

Experts, scholars and entrepreneurs will propose solutions and recommendations to strengthen corporate values and contribute to the nation’s sustainable development goals.

Within the forum’s framework, the organizers will present the “Vietnam Business Culture Standard” Certificates 2025, honor outstanding enterprises that have supported the “Building Vietnamese Business Culture” movement from 2016–2024.

The forum will also witness the launch of the Vietnam Business Culture Standard Enterprise Club and the Press and Business Culture Club to foster collaboration and promote business culture values across the business and media communities.
