Hanoi, Vientiane exchange experiences on organizing people elected bodies

. On October 29th, People’s Council`s President Ngo Thi Doan Thanh received high-level delegation of Vientiane City led by Mr., Latsanivong Amrathithada. Chairman of National Assembly of Region I.

Chairman Ngo Thi Doan Thanh congratulated delegation's visit and introduced the organizational structure and staffing, functions, powers and duties of the elected bodies of Hanoi; relationship between the People's Council at all levels and the administrative offices of the City in accordance with the law.

Chairman Ngo Thi Doan Thanh also briefed the Law deals with unions, and asserted that the elections to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels of Hanoi in particular and the country were unified under the provisions of law.
Head of the delegation Latsanivong Amrathithada thanked and appreciated valuable experiences of Hanoi, affirming that conversation will help Laos in organizing the election of deputies of the Lao People's Councils at all levels in 2016. He also wished the Hanoi People's Council to continue to strengthen cooperation to help Laos implement the content in the future, especially experienced construction law Vientiane.
The meeting took place in the friendship atmostphere. The two sides expressed their pleasure as the relationship between the two countries Vietnam, Laos and the two cities Hanoi - Vientiane continues to develop very well. Especially, the visit of  Vientiane’s high level delegation led by the Secretary, Mayor of Vientiane to Hanoi raise the cooperation between the two capitals to a new height with comprehensive cooperation in the field of socio - economics, strengthening bonds of friendship like comrades and brothers of Vietnam and Laos
