As one of the few instruments you have to walk from one end to the other, Hoa himself struck an equally imposing figure as he entered in full mandarin attire treating the instrument with the reverence it deserves.
Paul Zetter, an accomplished jazz musician, knowledgable fan and enthusiastic writer and reviewer, described percussionist Xuan Hoa’s music so beautifully and Heritage Space proudly introduce to you a solo concert “From the WOOD” by percussionist Tran Xuan Hoa in this July.
The concert will take place from 8pm to 10pm. Heritage Space is at Level 1, Dolphin Plaza, 28 Tran Binh street, My Dinh 2. Tickets cost VND120,000 (including one drink), VND100,000, and VND80,000 (for Heritage Space membership holders, students).
Heritage Space is a combination of an art gallery, a library, a concert hall, co-working office, residency space, artist studios and some open-stages, which has the capacity to host art exhibitions, music events, educational programs, multi-creative forms, artist-in-residency programs and others.
Run by a group of curators, artists, researchers, musicians and architects, Heritage Space’s mission is to become a HUB for individuals and groups working on multi-disciplines from both inside and outside of the country to support and develop the creative industries in Vietnam.
