Hanoians enjoy special exhibition on Italy’s cultural beauty
The exhibition aims to convey the non-traditional, creative and dynamic collisions that make up the Italian research system, combining knowledge with the artistic tradition of Italy as well as the renowned Italian lifestyle and art of well-being.
Hanoians and foreign visitors have a chance to enjoy a special exhibition featuring scientific excellence of Italy, including heritages and achievements, in Hanoi from now to June 16.
The exhibition with theme “Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge” was part of activities to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.
The exhibition was organized by the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Italian National Research Council (CNR) with the contribution of the four main Italian science museums: Idis-Citta Science Foundation (Naples), Galileo Museum (Florence), Museum of Science (Trento), and Leonardo da Vinci - the National Museum of Science and Technology (Milan).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung affirmed that the cooperation between Hanoi and Italian partners, including the Italian embassy in Vietnam, has been continuously enhanced thanks to cultural and art events.
Nguyen Duc Chung also expressed his belief that through the exhibition, Hanoians and foreign visitors will have a chance to experience the sights, culture, cuisine and development of Italy.
On his side, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) Enzo Moavero Milanesi said that Italy is renowned for its history and traditions, but it has also been an active laboratory of innovation, where fascinating challenges are faced and where it is possible to imagine and plan for a better future. The exhibition is an immersive experience that aims to communicate the dynamic and beautiful nature of the quest for knowledge and research in Italy.
He noted that friendship and cultural exchange are important factors in contributing to strengthening the mutual understanding between the two peoples.
The exhibition showcases ideas, images, videos, tools, objects and materials provided by Italian Research System. Visitors will discover the beauty of Italy through different parts: Health, Environment, Space, Food and Nutrition and Cultural Heritage.

After Hanoi, the exhibition will move to Guangzhou of China and Buenos Aires of Argentina.
