People have gathered in front of the shop on Dinh Le Street since early morning over the last few days in order to get a chance to buy luxury at prices of 60% to 70% off. In order to shop, customers are required to get a ticket and often wait for hours.
On August 7, one customer named Dat said, “I’ve been waiting since early morning but haven't had a chance to buy anything yet. The store is not open the whole day and closes for a few hours even with customers inside."
Nga, from Dong Da District, was happy that her number was called early. “I had to elbow my way through the crowd. But it was worth it. I got a few things much cheaper than anywhere else: a pair of glasses, a bottle of perfume and some sandals."
