Hanoi's leaders receive Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam

Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai met with Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada on March 4.

At the reception, Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada believed that the capital of Hanoi will continue to reap new successes under the leadership of Secretary Hoang Trung Hai.

The Ambassador expressed his pleasure at the development in the Vietnam-Japan friendship in recent years, which was reflected through regular delegation exchanges and cooperation projects. 
The Japanese diplomat hoped that the both sides will continue to closely coordinate in the implementation of projects in urban railway and environmental improvement, in order to deepen bilateral ties and contribute to Hanoi’s socio-economic development. 
During the meeting, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai agreed with these proposals, and affirming Hanoi will create favourable conditions to support joint projects between Vietnam and Japan, and pay attention to solving difficulties to speed up the implementation of these projects as scheduled.
On the same day, Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada was received by Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.

At the meeting, the Ambassador shared his perspectives on efficient urban development and public transport system, and expressing the desire to contribute to the city's development.
Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung expressed his hope that Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada will continue calling on Japanese businesses to invest in Hanoi, especially in the fields of urban development, transport, agriculture and tourism.
