The contest contributes to spreading the values of happiness and empathy among the community and promoting the image of Vietnam as a happy country.
A photo and video contest entitled "Happy Vietnam 2023" has been launched for the first time.

The contest, which was launched by the Ministry of Information and Communication on June 15, invites entries from Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living in Vietnam.
According to the organizers, the winning pictures and video clips will be widely used in the media and social networks to spread the beauty of Vietnam and its hospitable people in the international community.
This is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese community at home and abroad to show their perception of the motherland through visual language.
Domestic and foreign individuals/organizations are encouraged to submit entries to https://happy.vietnam.vn from June 15, 2023 to September 15, 2023. There is no limit to the number of entries.
The total cash prizes of the contest amount to over VND400 million (US$17,000), including a first prize worth VND100 million ($4,260), a second prize worth VND30 million ($1,300), a third prize worth VND20 million ($850), 10 consolation prizes worth VND5 million ($213) each, and other prizes.
