According to the Directive No.18/CT-UBND on December 24, 2020, head of organizations will take prime responsibility to ensure that no firecracker explosion happen in the locality during the traditional Tet and great holidays.
In the Directive, the municipal People's Committee assigns specific tasks to each relevant department to prevent violations.
Individuals and households are encouraged to sign commitments not producing, buying, selling, transporting, storing and using weapons, explosives, combat gear and firecrackers.
Local administrations are required to boost the dissemination of regulations on management and use of weapons, explosives, combat gear and firecrackers.
The committee will strengthen coordination among agencies to inspect, prevent and early handle such violations. It will also direct relevant departments to improve people's awareness to protect national security and ensure a safe living environment.
