With 68 bus turns per day, the bus service is expected to charge a fare of VND40,000 (US$1.72) per passenger per ride.

The bus service will shorten travel time as compared to the regular one as it makes fewer stops.

The bus route aims to attract passengers who are using personal vehicles and taxis to go to Noi Bai International Airport, help ease the traffic flow on roads to the airport, preventing traffic congestion.

Currently, there are five regular bus routes to Noi Bai airport, including Cau Giay-Noi Bai (Line 07), Long Bien-Noi Bai (Line 17), Kim Ma-Noi Bai (Line 90), and My Dinh-Noi Bai (Line 109), and one high-quality bus Line 86 linking the Hanoi Railway Station to Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi city and Noi Bai airport.

Bus Line 86 was put into operation on April 30, 2016, costing VND30,000 (US$1.35) per ride. The route spans 33 kilometer with eight stops.
