The 16th International Agriculture Trade Fair - AgroViet 2016 kicked off in Hanoi on November 11, featuring 400 booths of 300 local and international businesses.
Themed “Agricultural products with high quality and food safety”, the fair is introducing safe agricultural products to consumers.

AgroViet 2016 offers opportunities for businesses to promote trade, expand cooperation and strengthen their ties with customers, as well as explore the domestic market.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Quoc Doanh said the fair would promote Vietnam’s safe agricultural products in local and international markets. It would also help businesses seek new markets for their products.

Particularly, exports of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first ten months of 2016 increased by 6.3% year-on-year to 26.4 billion USD, he added.
Deputy Minister Doanh noted that the event offers a good chance for businesses, manufacturers, and researchers to share experiences, approach advanced technologies, and improve the competitive edge of products.
AgroViet 2016 lasts until November 15 and is expected to attract thousands of visitors.
