The General Statistics Office has announced the number of international arrivals to Vietnam in January jumped 6.6% on-month to an estimated 700,692 tourists.
Particularly, in terms of mode of transport, visitors travelling by air reached 561,883 arrivals, by sea reached 1,287 guests and by land reached 131,926 people.
Korean tourists reached 116,450 arrivals, up 140% compared to last month. The number of Japanese visitors was 57,593, an increase of 102% and tourists came from Denmark was 3,108, up 167.6%.
