The Prime Minister has approved a project with the after-tax cost worth about 3,367 billion VND to digitalise the national public data.
The project aims at building relevant technical infrastructure to store profiles of citizens across the country based on a common standard, paving the way to implement the identity card law.
It will be carried out by the Ministry of Public Security across all of its municipal and provincial agencies.
The national public data is part of the 2013-2020 national master plan on simplifying administrative procedures.
