The technology and information technology equipment market (IT Techmart 2018) opened in Hanoi on May 16, as part of activities to develop the science and technology market.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Tran Van Tung, said that information technology has changed the world, for this reason, many organisations and experts around the world have confirmed the 21st century as the century of information technology with the fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0).
The IT Techmart is expected to offer trade opportunities for businesses, institutes, schools, science and technology organisations, and individuals. IT Techmart 2018 will bring many benefits for research activities, investment promotion activities, and promote the development of new products within Vietnam.
In addition, under the framework of the event, scientific workshops on information technology will also be held.
