Former Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroyuki Yushita in turn said the event would help Japanese businesses learn more about investment policies in Danang so that they could expand their operations.

He also spoke positively of Danang’s potential –  especially in the field of tourism, seaports and hi-tech zones.

At present, there are some 120 Japanese businesses and representative offices operating in Danang with total foreign direct investment of nearly US$500 million.
