Japanese public opinion appreciated the visit of the General Secretary
Japanese public opinion expressed the hope for new development in bilateral relations after the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
All Vietnamese who live, study and work in Japan consider this as a happiness, a new opportunity for deeply strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Japanese side welcomed and appreciated results of the visit and affirmed that the cooperation between the two countries will contribute to the overall peace and stability of the region and the world.
Metran Group's Chairman, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc Kazafuku, a Japanese with Vietnamese origin has received numerous innovation awards of Japan, is so happy to directly speak to the General Secretary.
He said this is the first time that he can meet and hear General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to talk about bilateral relations. Both countries were unanimous in expanding collaboration in culture, people-to-people exchange, education-training, science-technology and defence security, as well as continuing close coordination at regional and international forums. On this occasion, the two sides adopted a statement on a joint vision for Vietnam-Japan relations, which specifies major orientations and cooperation measures to strongly and comprehensively boost the bilateral ties in the future.
Vietnam and Japan were unanimous in expanding collaboration in other realms, including culture, people-to-people exchange, education-training, science-technology, and defence exchange. Japan will support Vietnam in joining the United Nations peace-keeping activities and improving the law enforcement capacity at sea.
Both sides underscored the continued close coordination at regional and international forums on issues of shared concern. Vietnam highly valued Japan ’s commitment to follow the path of peaceful development and endorsed the Northeast Asian nation’s active contributions to regional and global peace, cooperation and development.
