The tourism sector of the central province of Khanh Hoa is ready to welcome an estimated 154,000 tourists, including 35,000 foreigners, in the first lunar week of the Year of the Horse (January 31-February 5).


It has also prepared a series of cultural and artistic performances to entertain festive visitors.
According to statistics, tourists have booked 85-95 percent of rooms at three to five-star hotels.
The provincial culture, sports and tourism sector has also forecast that during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday (lasting from January 28 to February 5), there will be 650,000 visitors to the province.
In January, Khanh Hoa has welcomed over 225,000 tourists, up 29 percent against the same period last year. Of the total, 73,000 were foreigners.
The province received more than 3 million visitors, including 724,000 foreign arrivals last year.
