In the final round of Robocon Vietnam 2014 held in Nha Trang city on the evening of May 11, the Lac Hong University team made a clean sweep, outperforming 32 other teams and winning all three top prizes.

The university’s LH NVN team won the championship along with prize money of VND50 million. It also garnered the Toyota Award and received top honors to represent Vietnam at the 2014 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) scheduled for this August in India.
The LH DCN team came in second, while the LH 112 team shared the third prize with the University of Economic and Technical Industries UNETIDT 21 team.
The 2014 Robocon Vietnam competition was co-organised by Toyota Vietnam Company and Vietnam Television.
Its theme “Robot family” emphasizes the role parents play in raising children to become good citizens.
