Lang Co recognised as a beautiful Bay

The central province of Thua Thien-Hue on May 24 hosted a festival to mark the fifth anniversary of Lang Co recognised as a beautiful bay by the Worldbays Club.

The two-day event consisted of numerous activities such as sport games, camping, a culinary contest, a unique display of handicrafts, kite flying, photo exhibition, and folk games.

This is a good opportunity for the locality to promote economic, cultural values, the beauty and ecological environment of Lang Co Bay.
It also affirms the position and development potential of the Chan May-Lang Co economic zone with the aim of building a trademark for Lang Co tourism resort to attract both local and foreign investors.
Lang Co Bay has a 13-kilometer long beach with white sand and blue water. It has Lap An lagoon, a brackish water lagoon extended to 1,500 hectares with rich natural resources.
The bay adjacent to Hai Van Pass lies in the central area, where visitors can reach four world cultural heritages in Viet Nam, namely Hue relics, royal court music, Hoi An ancient town and My Son relics, within a radius of 70 kilometers.
Over the past five years, Lang Co welcomed nearly 95,000 visitors per year and earned 25% growth of tourism revenue.
Lang Co is the third Vietnamese bay after Ha Long and Nha Trang honored by the club./.
