Largest and most modern speedboat launched to cover Vung Tau – Con Dao route

The Con Dao Express 36 is 46.85m long, 12.2m wide and has a maximum speed of 35 nautical miles per hour. The speedboat is said to have highly stable engine and spacious and comfortable passenger cabin.
It is scheduled that the speedboat will begin commercial operations in the first quarter of 2019 and will cover the route between Vung Tau - Con Dao and Tran De - Con Dao.
The Con Dao Express 36 is equipped with four Rolls-Royce MTU 12V4000M53 with a total capacity of 7,404 horsepower, the maximum speed of up to 35 knots per hour will shorten the time from Vung Tau to Con Dao or vice versa to just three hours, instead of the current 6-7 hours.
The passenger cabins include economy, Dulex and VIP seats. Each VIP seat is equipped with a separate entertainment screen and soundproof floor of international standards. All of these facilities provide comfort, quietness and privacy for each segment of passengers’ demand.
It is expected that in the first quarter of 2019, Phu Quoc Express JSC will launch two more ships of the Con Dao Expess 36 class.
