The opening ceremony of direct flights from Kenya to Vietnam was held at Noi Bai International Airport on March 31. This is the first African airline to connect to Vietnam.
The Kenya Airways opens direct flights deriving from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and vice versa.
Direct flight between Hanoi and Nairobi will offer easier connectivity to business and leisure travellers and will open up trade opportunities between the two countries.
The Kenya Airways will fly the Boeing 787-800 three times per week to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.
Passengers only take about nine hours flying to arrive in the capital of both countries.
