London would be willing to support Hanoi in building financial Centre

As part of Hanoi foreign mission program 2015, at the reception on 11th Sep in England, London Mayor – Alan Yarrow pledged Delegation of Hanoi led by Chairman of Hanoi’s People Committee, for supporting the capital to build a financial Centre.

At the meeting with Alan Yarrow, Chairman Nguyen The Thao introduced about Hanoi plan until 2030, vision until 2050; among those, there was plan of Hanoi financial center. In terms of that, Chairman Nguyen The Thao expressed the hope that the Mayor would support Vietnam as well as Hanoi to develop financial market.
Agreed with the suggestion from the Chairman, Mayor Alan Yarrow expressed deep concern about building Hanoi financial Centre. Sharing the experience, he affirmed, it was necessary to develop Hanoi Financial center. First of all, the government should concentrate on building infrastructure, attracting investment and reinvestment funds; beside, creating skillful human resources to attract external financial forces… With friendly and cooperative spirit, Mayor Alan Yarrow confirmed, London financial Centre was willing to mobilize specialists to consult, support Hanoi in developing the financial Centre.
Within the framework of working trip in London, Delegation led by Chairman of Hanoi’s People Committee attended Vietnam Discovery event, held by Vietnam Embassy in United Kingdom.
