Vietnamese singer My Tam was awarded “The best-selling artist from all major territories” at the World Music Awards 2014 (WMA) held in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on May 27.
Tam was one of 25 artists from around the world receiving the prestigious award.
She has also been nominated for: Best Female Artist, Best Live Act and Best Entertainer of the Year.
The Vietnamese singer still has the chance to receive these awards as the voting system for the WMA is still currently open.
In April this year, two popular Vietnamese pop stars - My Tam and My Linh - were short-listed from 62 singers in the Asian region to have nominations in the WMA.
