Pop star My Tam has won the Best Selling Artist of Asia award on the official Facebook page of the Big Apple Music Awards (BAMA).
My Tam is one of the biggest stars in Vietnam pop music.
Tam began in 1999 as a singer and songwriter. She plays guitar, piano, the organ and is a dancer. In 2012, she became the first Vietnamese to win Best Asian Artist at the annual Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in the Republic of Korea.
Last year Tam won the World Music Award for "Best selling artists from each major territory" along with 25 international artists.
