At the meeting, Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan expressed her pleasure at the remarkable strides in the bilateral relations in the past 45 years, especially when the two countries lifted their strategic partnership to comprehensive strategic partnership during the Indian PM’s visit to Vietnam in September 2016.
The result has created a new significant framework for deeper cooperation in various fields, the Chairwoman said, adding that the two countries will celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 10th anniversary of strategic partnership in 2017.
