National park ranks with top 10 forgotten places

The US online newspaper, Huffington Post, has named Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam’s central Quang Binh province as top 10 travel destinations that are popular today, while wouldn`t have even been considered such a decade ago.

According to the newspaper, the national park wasn't exactly a tourist attraction until Son Doong Cave-the biggest cave in the world- was explored in 2009.

The Huffington Post also noted that this will continue to rapidly evolve with the exploration of Son Doong, along with other massive caves situated around the national park.
“The enormous underground caves are practically otherworldly in their size and shape, to say nothing of the bizarre structures, the rivers and in the case of Son Doong, the forests that dwell inside them”, the newspaper describes.“Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park will only see more travellers as these caves become more accessible, so get there fast!”
Other forgotten places among top 10 include: Cuba, Myanmar, Montenegro, Sri Lanka, North Korea, Papua New Guinea, Downtown Los Angeles, Iran, and Brooklyn.
