The strategy aims to preserve the natural ecosystem by expanding and establishing a system of nature reserves and setting up bio-diversification corridors.
Besides, the strategy boosts up the protection of primeval forests and prevents deforestation as well as strengthens the management apparatus for nature reserves.
Accordingly, rare and valuable species of flora and fauna will be strictly protected and conserved.
These are aimed at improving the quality and increasing the area of natural ecosystems to guarantee that land nature reserves will account for 9% of the land territory while marine reserves make up 0.24% of the sea.
