Vietnam’s new Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung said he would do all what he can to boost the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany.
Hung made the remark when presenting his credentials to Germany’s President Joachim Gauck on November 10, noting that expanded and deepened ties will serve the two countries’ people.
He affirmed that the Party, State and Vietnamese people always treasure Germany and consider the European country as one of Vietnam’s top important partners.
President Joachim Gauck told the diplomat that he is delighted with the growing bilateral relations.
He hoped to welcome President Truong Tan Sang in a state-level visit to Germany in the future, expressing his belief that the trip will bring the Vietnam-Germany relationship to a new height.
The President hoped Hung will make significant contributions to preserving, cementing and further developing the good relationship between Germany and Vietnam.
