She is well known for many published books, such as “Waiting sand”, “Post heaven”, “Magician”, “New port”, “21 short stories of Nguyen Thi Thu Hue”, “Let’s forget”, “37 short stories of Nguyen Thi Thu Hue” and the short stories collection of “the gone city”. The latter one was awarded prize from the Writers’ Association in 2012.

On a new position, she shared: The new steering committee consists of 8 members, with both male and female. We will promote democracy, and in particular respect different opinions. As such, in artistic creativity, especially in literature we are in need of differences. It is sometimes cannot be in favor of everyone. The steering committee will designate rights for each member and vice chairmen in specific tasks.

“One of my well thought out idea is to take care of writers of old generation. We will invite writers to take part in writing camp”.

I think increase writing is the most important things. With elder writers familiar with hand writing, we will help them in typing these works. As Director of Vietnam writer’s Association rights center, typing is also convenient for them to register their rights registration. Literature works less attracted to publishers is a concern for revenue, so the writers’ Association will be a bridge to connect authors and publishers. – Mrs. Hue shared.

Besides, the new Chairwoman of Hanoi writers’ association also expressed her care to young writers with new approach and perspectives. According to her, they do not work like before.

As such, social networks are now used for bringing their works to society and readers “We have to have the responsibilities to invite them to join the association, instead of having to write application form. With this being said, we can prepare for the next generation of Hanoi writers’ association” – Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Hue stressed.

Afterwards, the Steering committee of next term will establish councils for poem, literature and critics, so that the Association will get to know famous writers, who are highly appreciated by the public and invite them to the Association.

She added: "The Association’s awards will be maintained, with a view to unite and respect differences. It may not be in the favor of everyone, but from my point of view, differences must be respected. Creativity is individual works. However, we will put up effort to publish members’ works. On the quality of the works, it is the opinion of readers".

This 12nd term of Hanoi writers’ association will come to an end in 2020. 8 members in the steering committee including Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Hue are expected to create more works better reflecting life, enriching the diversified of a thousand years old culture of Thang Long – Hanoi.
