Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi has been ranked 82nd among top 100 best airports in the world by UK-based consultancy firm Skytrax.
This is the third year Noi Bai International Airport is voted in the top 100 of best airports by Skytrax. Noi Bai International Airport was ranked 83rd in top 100 best airports for 2017, 82nd for 2016 and 218th for 2015.
Meanwhile, Changi Airport Singapore achieved great success at the 2018 World Airport Awards, being voted by air travellers as the World’s Best Airport for the sixth consecutive year. This is the first time in the history of the awards that an airport has won this prestige title for six consecutive years.
Skytrax conducted a survey of passengers at 500 international airports worldwide. All customers based on standards of service quality and their satisfaction to mark for the most favorite airport.

Travellers from across the globe take part each year in the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to decide the award winners. The World Airline Awards are a global benchmark of airline excellence and widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards.
At present, Noi Bai International Airport receives 25 million passengers a year. The figure is estimated to grow to 34.5 million passengers in 2020, 54 million in 2025, and 65 million in 2030.
In the past three years, the airport has worked to improve its terminal services, including free tap water faucets, shuttle bus, and phone charger spots. The upgrade of Noi Bai’s domestic terminal T1 will be completed this year.
On December 31, 2014, Noi Bai opened its new US$900 million airport terminal that nearly doubled its original capacity. In 2016, Noi Bai and Da Nang International Airport (Da Nang) were named among Top 30 Best Airports in Asia in a survey by the airport-review websitewww.sleepinginairports.net.
