On October 30, Hanoi Party Secretary Pham Quang Nghi, City Chairman Nguyen The Thao has attended the inauguration of the urban overpass intersections North Thang Long - Van Tri and Bac Hong railway - Van Dien.
This is one of the key works of Hanoi city, has been urgently completed in 5 months ahead of the schedule in order to celebrate Hanoi Party Congress XVI.
Project construction of urban road intersections North Thang Long - Van Tri and Bac Hong railway - Van Dien is one of the key projects of the City with the goal of completing the overpass informed in 2015.
The building has a volume scale and put into use the entire route length of 1.920m, design speed of 80km/h connected from junctions Kim Chung (Vo Van Kiet) with 5 lines long, in which direct flyover with 1.085m of length - 26m of width - 6 lanes of road, 50m wide road section - 72,5m (width equivalent to 5 lines long).
City Chairman Nguyen The Thao said: "In the beginning, there are many suggested construction of this road section under the plan crossings in order to reduce costs. However, that way cannot create the uniform, affecting the overall planning of cluster traffic works; so the City People's Committee was determined at all costs, raising resources to implement consolidation plans overpass despite many difficulties ".
