The total number of telephone subscribers was 137.6 million at the end of March, 57.7 percent up year on year, the GSO said.
It included 19.7 million landline users and 117.9 million mobile-phone subscribers.
The total number of Internet users has risen to 23.3 million, up 37.3 percent year on year, including nearly 3.1 million broadband users.
