Seaplanes are scheduled to serve tourism from Hanoi to Halong from September 9th within 30 minute flying.
On August 8th, Hai Au Airlines welcomed two hovercrafts arriving at Noi Bai airport. According to Hai Au Airlines, this is the first time Vietnam have ever had hovercraft for tourism.
Hovercraft Cessna Grand Caravan EX which Hai Au Airlines received has capacity of 12 passengers and flying speed of 300 km per hour,ability to take off and land on normeal airport and on water.
Mr Luong Hoai Nam, CEO of Hai Au Airlines, said that beside serving for tourism, his company will provide services for organizations, individuals and public states.
According to information from Hai Au, the price for one-way ticket from Hanoi to Ha Long is 5.3 million. Other sight seeing flight packages also cost $ 5 million and 7 million.
It is expected from December, after receiving 3 aircraft, Hai Au will expand hovercraft services for tourists travelling from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat and other tourist attractions in the South.
In 2015, Hai Au will continue expanding into other areas of the country and neighboring countries.
