| The Hanoi authorities, on October 6, broke the ground for the construction of an underpass at Kim Dong - Giai Phong intersection in Hoang Mai District. The underground passageway project, with a total investment of nearly VND800 billion (US$32.6 million), is a crucial project to ease traffic congestion at one of the busiest intersections in Hanoi and contribute to creating a beautiful urban landscape. Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that this is a vital traffic project in developing the city's infrastructure system and a task for Hanoi in the 2021-25 period.
