PM Nguyen Tan Dung on February 9 held a working session with leaders of Dak Lak Province on local socio-economic situations.
The PM praised the efforts of the provincial authorities and people in promoting economic growth, reducing poverty and safeguarding social security.
He suggested the province try its utmost to reach missions and tasks set for the socio-economic criteria for 2015 and the five-year-plan (2011-2015).
The Central Highlands province needs to make its easier procedurally for businesses to invest in the locality and enhance the application of science-technology into production to increase capacity and quality of its products and services, he said, adding that the authorities have to take synchronous measures to reduce poor households further.
In addition, he asked the province to launch effectively the new rural establishment program, mainstreaming the program's goals in other socio-economic development plans and projects, and improve the quality of education and training and health care services for local people.
