Project raises funds for AO victims

More than 3,000 people in HCM City walked in Dam Sen Park in District 11 last Saturday to raise funds for Agent Orange victims and the disabled.

The walk is part of the Action Month for Agent Orange and Poor People with Disabilities, which runs from August 10 to September 10.

It was organised by the HCM City Red Cross Society and has raised more than VND2.1 billion (US$100,000).
In 2013, funds were provided to 904 Agent Orange victims and poor people with disabilities. Wheelchairs and scholarships were also presented.
