It is the fifth facilities owned by the Fire and Rescue Police Department. The four others are in Hai Phong, Da Nang, Binh Duong province and Ho Chi Minh City.
During nine months of pilot operations, the dispatch centres dealt with 1,927 emergency calls, 7,253 fires and 2,449 rescue cases.
The pilot operations helped improve the Vietnamese police’s firefighting steering capacity and access to advanced technology.
